Why Danbury?

Your good days are about to get budr. After immense success with our West Hartford location, we’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of our newest dispensary in Danbury, CT. Our team of artisans has high expectations and this location, offering both adult use and medical marijuana, as well as delivery, will be our biggest store yet!

Nicknamed “Bean Town” early on for the quality of the beans grown there, Danbury eventually became the center of America’s hat production during the nineteenth century, earning the new nickname “Hat City.” Today, Danbury is dedicated to becoming greener and is now among the best places to live in the United States. This dense suburban area offers residents entertainment, culture, dining, art, and now…cannabis! Here’s to making your days smooth as Budr. Hats off to Danbury!

Budr in the Community

At Budr, our commitment to the Danbury area extends beyond our storefront. Our team lives and spends time in neighboring towns such as Bridgewater, New Milford, Sherman, Southbury, and Woodbury, along with other towns in Fairfield and Litchfield Counties, just to name a few. This gives us a genuine understanding of what matters most to the people we serve, and that perspective guides how we show up for our customers and how we support the broader community.

When you visit our store, you’re more than a customer—you’re a neighbor, and we’re dedicated to providing an experience that reflects that.

We also value meaningful collaboration with local businesses, organizations, and creators who share our passion for strengthening the communities around us. To explore the partners we work with in Danbury and across our other markets, visit our Budr Fam page.

And to stay informed about promotions, events, and ongoing community partnerships, we encourage you to sign up for our Loyalty Program.

Live further away? We also serve towns outside this footprint, including Newtown, Oxford, Roxbury, and more.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome place. Bought cannabis in West Hartford for years back in the days of my misspent youth, it was nice to finally do so legally. But really, it was a nice experience coming here. They had some interesting and different products, which is great in CT as cannabis legislation here kind of limits things, which usually sends me looking in MA at times. I was pleasantly surprised in coming here, however, and look forward to coming back.
