Why Montville?

Tucked between scenic shoreline towns and rich forest preserves, Montville is where nature, community, and now cannabis come together. With its strong local pride and growing interest in wellness, Montville was a clear choice for Budr’s next destination.

Our goal is simple: to provide a modern, welcoming space where everyone—from first-timers to seasoned users—feels informed and at ease. Whether you’re heading home from work, visiting Mohegan Sun, or just passing through, our Montville location offers convenience, quality products, and a team of budtenders who are here to help—not upsell.

We’re proud to bring Budr to Montville and invite you to explore our thoughtfully curated adult use and medical marijuana selection. Come see what makes us different—and why good days start here.

Budr in the Community

At Budr, our commitment to the Montville area extends beyond our storefront. Our team lives and spends time in neighboring towns such as Bozrah, East Lyme, Groton, Ledyard, New London, Norwich, Preston, and Waterford, along with other towns in New London and Windham Counties, just to name a few. This gives us a genuine understanding of what matters most to the people we serve, and that perspective guides how we show up for our customers and how we support the broader community.

When you visit our store, you’re more than a customer—you’re a neighbor, and we’re dedicated to providing an experience that reflects that.

We also value meaningful collaboration with local businesses, organizations, and creators who share our passion for strengthening the communities around us. To explore the partners we work with in Montville and across our other markets, visit our Budr Fam page.

And to stay informed about promotions, events, and ongoing community partnerships, we encourage you to sign up for our Loyalty Program.

Live further away? We also serve towns outside this footprint, including Franklin, Lebanon, Mystic, Old Saybrook, and more.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome place. Bought cannabis in West Hartford for years back in the days of my misspent youth, it was nice to finally do so legally. But really, it was a nice experience coming here. They had some interesting and different products, which is great in CT as cannabis legislation here kind of limits things, which usually sends me looking in MA at times. I was pleasantly surprised in coming here, however, and look forward to coming back.
